Bolt projects disappear after sign-in
Cataloged October 16, 2026 · Bolt
Symptom
The project list is empty, or it is a different set of projects than the ones you built yesterday.
Root cause
Bolt's troubleshooting guide says a missing project is usually a different workspace or a different account. One account can hold several workspaces. Signing in with Google or GitHub after an earlier email login creates a second account. Every project for the account also appears in the Bolt collection on StackBlitz, and can be reopened with Open in bolt.new. If it is in none of those places, Bolt says to email support@bolt.new from the address that created the project.
Fix prompt
Do not create a new project and do not regenerate the app. Help me find the existing one. Tell me which checks to do in the Bolt UI: the workspace checkmark in the account menu, the email shown in that menu, and the Bolt collection on StackBlitz. Wait for me to say what I see before suggesting any code changes.
Paste this into the coding tool that has your own project open.
2-minute self-check
These steps are for an app you own. Do not run them against someone else's project.
- In your own Bolt account menu, check the email address and open every workspace.
- Sign in to StackBlitz with that same account and open Collections, then the Bolt collection.
- If the project is there, use Open in bolt.new. If it is not in any workspace or the collection, write support from the address you used to create it.
